Experience Matters
Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, I bring over 30 years of experience working across the state with multiple county assessor offices. Throughout my career, I have specialized in property valuation using accepted mass appraisal methods for commercial, agricultural, and residential properties. I have also authored and implemented numerous evaluation models across all property classes. From 2005 to 2008, I owned and operated my own real estate appraisal company, Plainview Appraisal. Gaining valuable private-sector experience to complement my extensive public service.
For the past 16 years, I have served in the Lancaster County Assessor’s Office, focusing primarily on residential valuations. My work has involved extensive experience with appeals at every level—informal reviews, the Board of Equalization, and the Tax Equalization and Review Commission (TERC)
I have dedicated my career to maintaining open communication with property owners, listening to their concerns, and helping them understand the valuation process for their properties. I believe deeply in integrity, transparency, and respect—values that are essential to earning and keeping the communities trust.
As a leader, my goal is to educate homeowners, ensure open communication, and guide them through the assessment process. I’m also committed to helping our senior residents understand and access Homestead Exemptions, connecting them with resources that can provided assistance.
With decades of hands-on experience and a proven record of fairness and professionalism, I am ready to lead this office into the future—continuing to serve the people of Lancaster County with honesty, openness, and respect.
I am asking for your vote in the 2026 election!
